Evidently, I’m on some kind of stuffed animal trend this month. First the chicken, and now this. I’m telling you, it’s my little sisters! They’re making me do it!!
This bunny was for my sister’s fourth birthday.
“What do you want me to crochet you for your birthday?” I asked, bracing myself for the worst.
“Ummmm… A pink bunny!”
A little out of season, but whatever. She’s the birthday girl. So I went to Walmart and got the thickest, fluffiest pink yarn I could find. Actually, it was the only fluffy pink yarn I could find because, you know, it’s Walmart.
But it worked out well, and she ended up really liking it. We’ve had a lot of birthdays lately. The same sister and my dad have theirs in the same week, and another sister has one in November. So many birthdays and so little time!! Haha, I’m just kidding. I have absolutely no excuse for not getting my dad’s birthday present done in time last week.

Snuggle Bunny Pattern:
Materials:
-Size K (6.5 mm) crochet hook
-About 150 yds Bernat Blanket yarn in Raspberry Kisses
-Less than 100 yds black yarn (for eyes and nose)
-Stitch marker
-Scissors, yarn needle
-Stuffing
Stitches Used/Abbreviations:
mc – magic circle
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
sc dec – single crochet decrease
Gauge:
10 sc x 8 rows = 4″ x 4″
Pattern Notes:
-Anything between asterisks is repeated to the end of the round.
-Do not join at the end of any round.
Body:
Rnd 1) mc, ch 1, 8 sc in circle, pull shut.
Rnd 2) 2 sc in each stitch around.
Rnd 3) *sc in first stitch, 2 sc in next* around.
Rnd 4) *sc in first 2 stitches, 2 sc in next* around.
Rnds 5-15) sc in each st around.
At this point, sew on the eyes and nose with the black yarn. Then start stuffing.
Rnd 16) *sc in first 2 stitches, sc dec in next* around. Stuff as you go.
Rnd 17) * sc in first stitch, sc dec in next* around.Stuff as you go.
Rnd 18) sc dec in each stitch around.Stuff as you go.
Fasten off, weave in ends.
Ears:
Rnd 1) mc, ch 1, 6 sc in circle, pull shut.
Rnd 2) 2 sc in each stitch around.
Rnd 3) *sc in first stitch, 2 sc in next* around.
Rnds 4-5) sc in each stitch around
Rnd 6) *sc in first stitch, sc dec in next* around.
Rnd 7-14) sc in each st around.
Fasten off, weave in ends. Sew to body.
Arms/Legs (Yes, they’re both made the same way):
Rnd 1) mc, ch 1, 8 sc in circle, pull shut.
Rnds 2-7) sc in each stitch around.
Fasten off, stuff lightly, and sew to body.
