Crochet Sunflower Doily Pattern

I’m sure you all were expecting some sort of sunflower pattern, right? Well, here you go!

I have to say that sunflowers are my favorite thing to crochet ever. They’re easy, can be applied to pretty much anything, and I want to make a high-pitched, girly squeal every time I see them. But who can blame me?

Plus, they have that mysterious quality of instantly brightening a room. I’m serious. Every room in your house could be made better by sunflowers. These in particular could be coasters, doilies, you name it.

Actually, they were originally supposed to be potholders, but all the decorative holes in the design didn’t really cooperate… So I figured, why not just have a basic sunflower? Let the people decide for themselves how to use them.
