Ever have those days when you start crocheting nothing in particular and it somehow turns out to be awesome?
Well anyway, that’s what happened with this bag. I had three things in mind while making it: 1) My friend gave me some beautiful yarn and I loved it so much that I absolutely had to use it right then and there. 2) My sister’s birthday was in two days and I still hadn’t figured out what to crochet for her. And 3) I definitely had too much coffee that morning because my hook was whirring away at 90 miles per hour.
And somehow it still ended up looking pretty good, if I do say so myself. I even had it done in time for my sister’s birthday, which, as I already mentioned, had kind of been my goal in the first place.
She took it on vacation with her, and it worked nicely as an on-the-road/beach bag. That reminds me to tell you that this is uniquely large for a drawstring bag. So it can hold all your beach necessities. I think you could even squeeze a towel in there. Also, one of you should try making this in sea-green shades. Because I think that would be gorgeous.
And I promise that one of these days, I’ll get around to posting something besides drawstring bags.
